Today I want to talk to you
about a breathing disability disease
called COPD Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary disease.
caused mainly by smoking
It is the 4th leading cause of death in Canada.
One Canadian dies each hour.
Personally I know what it is like to experience COPD.
Take a straw, put it in your mouth,
Now breathe through this straw while you read this page.
At the end you will understand one aspect of COPD.
Very hard to breathe and work also.

Since smoking is the main cause it is preventable
The disease is manageable but not curable.
