You probably  asked yourself. What is apologetics?  Here is a quick definition. Apologetics is an area of study that deals with the rational defense of the Christian Faith. It comes from the Greek word apologia 1Peter 3:15 states "But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect."

    God created man in his image and He has given him  the ability to reason(Gen1:27) and we are called upon to discern truth from error (1john 4:6). People should refuse to believe anything without evidence. So the Christian should give sufficient grounds for belief. God wants us to make a choice of faith based on the evidence he has revealed to us. Not a leap of blind faith. Therefore when you believe the evidence then you can put your faith in it.

    Apologetics is demonstrated in the bible by Paul in Phil1:7 Paul speaks of his mission as "defending and confirming the gospel"  also see Jude 3: Titus 1:9 : 2Tim 2:24-25
